who am I?
- I am Emily E. Skinner Wright. The E is for Elizabeth after my grandma.
- I married Rik Wright on May 22, 2002 in Seattle, and on June 2, 2002 in Thailand. You can read my diary and see pictures from the trip, and watch a video.
- I have lived in Seattle since 1997.

- I was born in Michigan, raised in Kansas, and spent three crazy teenage years in Madison,
Wisconsin.
- I went to college at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.
- I studied biology for two years,
then ended up with a BA in English and a minor in music.
- I studied classical piano
for 10 years, 7 of them with Virginia Houser
at Kansas State.
- I worked in the high-tech industry for several years as a web developer.
- I'm currently attending nursing school to get my RN license.
